The Damned and the Saved was recorded at the same time that I made my album Shapes of the Fall and shares the same ecological message. The song asks, which species will perish and which will survive if, “all that remains is a cold fistful of dust”.
The song features the brilliant Algerian brothers, Karim and Malik Ziad on guembri and aouisha as well as percussion and vocals by the amazing Oriane Lacaille.

I’m excited for you to discover my new Remix EP, Dunya!
A few months ago, chatting with my two labels, No Format! and Beating Drum, we decided it would be great to open up and explore one of the songs from Shapes of the Fall by putting in the Remix hands of the amazing, DJ Chloé, Bachar Mar Khalifé, Natureboy Flako and Leonie Pernet.
Many of you have often told me Dunya is one of your favourite songs from the album and we liked the idea of choosing only one to remix so as to have four different interpretations of the same song and Dunya made the cut ! I trust you’ll enjoy these new and wonderful explorations of the song by these fantastic artists !

J’ai la grande joie de vous annoncer que je serai en concert et en conversation à l’Amphithéâtre de l’Opéra de Lyon, dimanche prochain, dans le cadre d’une nouvelle série de rencontres-concerts pour lequel je serai aussi l’animateur, « Les Chemins des Songwriters ». Entre performances, histoires et anecdotes, je vous montre le chemin que je prend à la quête de chansons.. Venez inaugurer avec moi cette série passionnante!
LA ROUTE DE LA VOIX 2021
Je me réjouis de vous annoncer la 1ère date de l’édition 100% acoustique de la Route de la Voix 2021 où j’aurai l’immense plaisir de partager rythmes et mélodies avec le fantastique Gerald Toto.
Comme chaque année, notre route de concerts va se poursuivre tout l’été dans les magnifiques chapelles des Cévennes (avec une virée en septembre vers la Lozère pour 3 concerts d’affilée)
