# 9: All Night Long Blues

My friend Ian McCamy was recently visiting so I asked him if he’d want to do something with me for the ongoing series of covers up on the website.
Given our love of  old time American music and early Blues, he suggested we do a version of the classic ‘All Night Long Blues’.
Ian had learnt the song from the version played by the Kentucky duo Dick Burnett and Leonard Rutherford who travelled throughout the South from 1914 to 1950. Ian wanted to keep the fiddle part played by the Kentucky duo so the arrangement was very straight forward, more of a doffing of the hat to a great era of music and song.
